– How to care for 3D printed cookie cutters?
To ensure that 3D printed cookie cutters bring joy for many years, they should be cleaned with lukewarm water and dish soap after each use. For tougher spots, you can also use a soft brush.
– Can 3D printed cookie cutters be washed in the dishwasher?
No, 3D printed cookie cutters should always be washed by hand with lukewarm water to prevent deformation.
– Can 3D printed cookie cutters be placed in the oven with the gingerbread dough?
No, 3D printed cookie cutters should not be placed in the oven, as high temperatures will cause them to deform and melt.
– I can’t get gingerbreads off the mold because the dough sticks to the gingerbread molds.
If the dough tends to stick to the gingerbread molds, lightly coat the molds with flour or oil. If you are using a particularly soft dough, we recommend adding a bit of flour to it, and if that doesn’t help, we suggest rolling out the dough in advance and placing it in the refrigerator for a while.
– Gingerbread does not have a pattern before baking.
Since each dough and mold behaves a bit differently, working with 3D-printed gingerbread molds requires some practice.
If the pattern on the gingerbread is not visible or is very faint, try rolling the dough a bit thicker, but make sure that the pressed pattern is not too deep (about 2-3 mm is ideal).
– After baking, the gingerbread no longer has a pattern or it has been smudged.
If the gingerbread does not have a pattern after baking, we recommend making the gingerbread from slightly thicker dough or adding a bit of flour to the dough to make it thicker.
